Good morning, my faithful family, friends, and followers this crisp and, straight-up cold Saturday morning!!! Despite the anxiety I can't seem to shake and my handsome hubby under the weather with bronchitis, ear infection, and a touch of some kind of nasty flu bug, I went on the hunt for some creative-inspiration I am in serious need of. Specifically, Pinterest and I began to develop a plan for an extaordinary, out-of-this-world, and ridiculously girly crafting masterpeice for my daughter, Miss Madison Rena Kae(my middle child) on her 13th birthday card.
Some how I stepped off of "Focus Lane" at mile marker "Attention-Deficit Disorder" for just a second (something shiny, probably caught my eye). However, Pinterest and I wound up a 1/4 mile or less from the on-ramp of "Exit 2014 Holiday Cheer"....
With Thanksgiving approaching us full-throttle on the calander this year, this detour has given me a an incredible chance to give thanks to everyone who somehow bring a little sparkle to my life and inspire me to write, create, and live, regardless of many of my short-comings that often leaves me neurotic and lost with a war that rages within my own mind frequently. Despite our chaotic and fast-paced life-styles, I urge you to express your gratitude to all of those whom you are thankful to have in your life, as we never "really" know when it will be too late, as life can truly be gone in an instant...
I am immensely thankful for my family, near and far, with their quirky personalities and al. Those are the people who have shaped me as a person throughout my life, both for the good or bad. I also want to show my loyalty dedication, and gratitude to my tight "circle" that consists of some people who some how manage to bring so much to my life every day, and have helped me so completely with the many trials and tribulations in my life. This may reveal a purpose for my blog, which is essentially about my gratitude for the gifts and challenges in my life, as they continue to shape me as I treat my life as a journey. I have so much gratitude and appreciation for my cherished memories of the love, laughter, and enthusiasm my late-brother, John brought into my life, living my heart to remain embedded forever. Although the brevity of his time with us was short, he continues to influences my life daily. (Rest in Peace, Baby Brother. We will miss you & love you forever and a day...)
...And in the spirit of the holidays, this cute (& absolutely FREE) Christmas themed-printable shopping list to the "Book Store" from the talent at "Laura Kelly's Inklings" can be found, HERE.
I hope this begins to inspire some gladtidings and yuletide cheer this holiday season filled with family, friends, and thoughts of the reason for season. Again, may you have a happy Thanksgiving holiday filled with love, family & friends ( & served with a side of football and a heaping helping of so much turkey you swear you will never touch it again... well atleast until next year)!!!
Always,
xx Lexy Lou
